The following diagram shows the basic structure of Climbing qualifications throughout the UK. The qualifications at the top of the diagram are required by the linked qualifications lower down.

In England, I believe there is also a single pitch leader's qualification. This is not considered valid in Scotland, except indoors. Check details on this.
